I have a love/hate relationship with Pinterest. I tried to stay away from it as long as possible, but after hearing so many good things and seeing the benefits for my boudoir photography business I had to give it a try. I had no idea how fast I could get sucked in to the Pinterest universe! You can find ANYTHING, yes ANYTHING you ever wanted on Pinterest.
Once I remembered why I was on there, I realized how it was really going to help my clients. Below is a screen shot of my Pinterest boards. They cover a wide range of ideas. Anything from accessories to hair and makeup ideas, as well as a generic boudoir photography board and ideas for theme inspired shoots. The coolest part of this is I can make each and every client their own personal board. Here is were we share ideas on what our vision for your shoot is, and our hair and makeup artist can also see what we are envisioning as well. Keep in mind that while you can find some fabulous boudoir photography ideas, not everything will be used. Some just may not work out, or we may run out of time. These decisions will be made during the pre-shoot consultation process. Also, I take pride in putting my own creative spin on these ideas so they are uniquely yours. Pinterest is definitely a wonderful tool! I need to do some cleaning up and organizing of my own boards ;) Off to go follow you!
I love how you use it to coordinate with your hair and makeup artist as well! What a great way to make sure everyone has the same creative vision during a custom photo shoot!
